About Us

Prairie Fire Gymnastics, founded in 2006 and located in Grinnell, IA, is dedicated to inspiring athletes of all ages and skill levels. We specialize in competition gymnastics, recreational gymnastics, and gym tots classes for our youngest gymnasts. Our modern facility also offers adjustable rental space for parties and special events. Our Story

At Prairie Fire Gymnastics, we believe gymnastics is about more than learning new skills. Since opening our doors in 2006, we have been proud to help children grow through movement, physical activity, and positive coaching. We are especially passionate about introducing gymnastics to children at an early age. Beginning as young as 18 months, our youngest participants can explore movement, coordination, and body awareness in an age-appropriate setting. As children grow, they can continue developing their abilities through beginner, intermediate, and advanced programs. Our goal is to make gymnastics an enjoyable and rewarding part of each athlete’s development while encouraging skills that can benefit them both inside and outside the gym.

For athletes interested in taking their training further, we provide opportunities to pursue competitive gymnastics.
